Fashion Faceoff: Kim K. vs. Tyra Banks

Are you ready for another style throwdown? Faceoff regular Kim Kardashian puts her best foot forward for a battle with fashion mogul Tyra Banks after both were spotted sporting the same Rachel Roy sheath. This time it's stilettos at ten paces, because our candidates both look mighty fierce! Question is, who wore it better?

Kim Kardashian rocked the red carpet in the coral-colored gown last Friday at the 2010 Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Awards in New York City. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star paired her figure-hugging gown with a multi-colored Talita spiked clutch and Alti platform pumps, both from Christian Louboutin, and an elegant updo.

Dress Like Gossip Girl – Serena loves Matthew Williamson

If you have watched Gossip Girl these days, then you may have notice that Serena (Blake Lively) loves wearing beaded fashion items with luxury bohemian touch, in fact they are from Matthew Williamson! First it was the Matthew Williamson antique beaded vest, which beautifully matched with Chanel jewel necklace,Joie Pleated Silk Tank ( $154.00) and Bottega Veneta Ostrich Bag. I love this outfit except the blue skirt.

The other one is also from also from Matthew Williamson, it ’s a black beaded silk chiffon dress with detailed beaded trims pn sleeves and neckline. You can now find a similar Matthew Williamson dress with different cutting at Net-A-Porter for $1,510. If you are looking for similar luxury bohemian beaded dress with limited budget, then check out H&M, as I saw a similar black beaded tunic with silver and grey beads, which are different from Matthew Williamson one in multi blue and yellow color ….. but with a little creativity, a little DIY on the H&M one may turn the dress look like a Matthew Williamson replica!

Spring Summer Moodboard

Just a quick post with a photo of a mood board I made to let you know that I am alive and well and that the exams haven't killed me (yet...)
I have lost my voice and have been living on soothers and cups of tea for the past 2 days but still, you get the idea. 6 exams down and 11 to go so once they have all finished expect much more posts to make up for my current absence.

Anyway, back to my moodboard. It is a spring/summer themed, taken by my beautiful Canon 1000D and consists of a few things that are currently inspiring me.

Oh and a parcel arrived for me yesterday from Conde Nast...

Yes that's right I got the first of my years subscription to Vogue. Still buzzing that one of those beauties will land on my humble doorstep every single month.

Blast from the past - don't laugh!

Just looking from some pictures on my computer and stumbled across these! Now you can imagine my hesitation to upload them as very old and not the most flattering but then i thought what the hell - you wont judge! Did i say they very very very old!!!!

Final year at uni - first week back after being in Spain for the summer so trying to show off my tan (you should have seen how short my shorts where!!!

This was second year (above and below) went through a stage of having very blond here. I dont think, when you go blonde, you know just how blond you are until you look back. Both house parties (becasue thats what you do when your students!!!)
