Bella Brand: Sun-Believable

Extra! Extra! I have heard straight from the horses mouth all about his revolutionary self tanning product just out this month called Sun-Believable (cute name, right). What makes it so unique is that the DHA tanning ingredient is organically derived from sugar-beet, therefore, it doesn't have any of that icky biscuit scent to it whatsoever. In fact, it's totally odourless!

Sun-Believable wears for 10-14 days and comes in a foamy texture made from a gentle baby shampoo base and costs £30. Also, (and here's a secret you won't want to tell the models), the product works alongside the protein in your skin to create just the right colour to suit your skintone — because the sugar-beet is actually a carbohydrate!

There are three 100ml products available in the Try Me set that include a scrub, a cream and a sef-tanner for £35, or you can buy the full-sized, 200 ml products separately for anywhere between £18 - £30. Patsy Kensit, Geri Halliwell and Myleene Klass are already fans, do you think you'll try Sun-Believable and become one too?

What to wear with ugg boots?

Over the last decade ugg boots have moved from the domain of pure indulgence and fashion faux pas to a winter fashion staple of celebrities and the fashion elite. Admittedly many of these people wear ugg boots purely for comfort but there are still critical do’s and do not’s when it comes to selecting an outfit to wear with your boots.
Whooga boots - for warmth and comfort in winter Short Skirts only in an emergency!

Ok so Jessica Simpson really isn’t a fashion icon but that is exactly the point in this instance. The thing to keep in mind when wanting to look fashionable in ugg boots is that you need to balance and draw the eye away from there chunky size. Wearing a short skirt doesn’t do the trick. Sure if you’re interested in comfort then go on and wear what you like but then again you probably wouldn’t be reading this would you. If you really must wear a short skit be sure to wear a pair of ugg boots which compliment your natural skin tone.

The best way to balance the chunkiness of ugg boots if you’re not particularly tall is to opt for classic shorts as Jennifer Aniston has in this picture. A thick belt, long fleece jacket balance this outfit out perfectly. It’s extremely cozy, comfortable and very well proportioned. Chestnut creates a warm contrast with denim and compliments earthy skin tones as well. This is why this is the most popular color year after year. Chestnut works particularly well on those of us blessed with darker skin which leads to the next ‘do’.

Black ugg boots are absolutely brilliant for the simple fact that they look nothing like an ugg boot. Compared to all other colors black ugg boots do not appear clunky at all. If you’re a shorter girl and absolutely must have long style ugg boots you will be doing yourself a disservice by purchase any color other than black. Leighton (or Blair Waldorf to me) is still sporting a practical and beautiful overcoat. Perfect balance, color and comfort see how easy it is to be both fashionable and comfortable?

French Fashion Style Guide

"Guide to Chic French Womenswear and Clothing!"

French fashion style. Outfit from promod.com

French Fashion Style. So sleek. So chic. That's what I associate with French womenswear. The main reason why I created this page is to simply inspire you to implement the "less is more"-philosophy French women have had for several decades.

The French have been the pioneers of chic fashion for hundreds of years. From Chanel to Givenchy, they all share the same vision:

Smart, timeless, sophisticated yet feminine style!

You can easily notice French womens simplicity in their style. Yet they ooze of discreet sexiness that can make any man fall off their feet.

If you find French fashion appealing and you want to implement elements or the whole style of it into your very own, then you came to the right page. Oh yes, oui oui!

Not Every French Woman Dress Alike

Have in mind that not all French women dress like this. This is just a guideline that describes the foundations of French clothing style -- and you know, what's "typical" French.

Our world is pretty globalized so different types of ethnic cultures and younger generations have affected the way younger French women dress.

Like for example, take a look at these unconventional French fashion outfits:

Cool French street fashion urban outfits
As you can see, French fashion isn't always sleek. But you can still see some French hints in their outfits. Like the beret hat and couture'ish fur jacket to your left. And do you notice that the other girls are wearing blazers? But in different, slightly trendy designs?

Anyway. Let's put urban and grunge style to the side. You and I are going to focus onsleek, sophisticated French style:

Key Elements of French Fashion

What really sets French women a part from the rest is their sense of style, and not necessarily sense of wearing the hottest trends. Style and fashion are two different things. Style is more of how mix clothes to present your personality and not to mention your best features.

Winter Hats: Stay Warm Look Cool

Get your slouch on with some chunky knits

Every time I hear that a winter weather advisory is extended, all I want to do is stay in and cuddle up.

A girl has gotta get going no matter how uncooperative the weather is. There’s nothing better for stylish winter survival mode than a good warm hat.

Knit hats in slouchy styles are looking right, particularly with bit of texture by way of an updated cable or popcorn stitch. Or a modern yet classic stripe for effortless, and warm, chic.

The softer the style, the less chance of hat hair. What’s not to love?

If a chunky, slouchy knit hat isn’t your thing, try a faux furtrapper hat with some toasty ear flaps to keep you warm.

Look at some of these stylish winter hats to stay warm:

Personal Fashion Style

Your Guide to Creating Your Own Unique Personal Style

Finding your personal style

Let me begin by saying that finding your personal fashion style is really, reaallly about getting to know yourself. It's about being confident in who you are! Creating your own personal style is the art of combining your taste, lifestyle, interests, desires, inspirations, aspirations and history together as one and let it shine through.

Improving your fashion style is a part of the self-development process that helps you achieve a sense of the confidence and comfort in the person you are. Often this self-acceptance will radiate through the way you dress and attract the same admirations clothes-horses like Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe are (still) getting.

Their trick? Well, they knew that they didn't need to have a certain look to look good. Instead, they accentuated their individuality.

Fashion icons Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn

Marilyn Monroe had the curves and personality to create that feminine, sexy image which she was known for. Imagine if we put her signature halter dress on slim-trim sporty and sophisticated Audrey Hepburn? Uh-uh, big mistake. That would emphasize her thin arms and enhance her boyish shape. Imagine how out of place she would feel! Audrey's straight, minimal tee shirt and pants on Marilyn? Don't get me started ;-)

See why some trends and clothing styles you see in magazines just don't look good on some people?

Together we're going to help you find and evolve your own personal fashion style. We're going to take a look at different clothing personalities, help you identify yours and enhance to create something unique and completely you :-)

So What Exactly Is A Clothing Personality?

It's your head-embedded tendency to instinctively choose particular type ofclothes. This natural tendency will 99.9% of the time match with your true inner self. But why do we all keep making mistakes? That's because of the influences surrounding you (it could be a parent, a group of friends, social position, career path, etc.) - this basically means that you're not quite 'in-tune' with your preferences.Together we're going to do some 'fine-tuning' between your wardrobe and self!

How to dress French when you are not. Wear a classic jacket or coat

Trendy lasts a moment and is best left as afashion bonbon to satisfy a craving for something new and sweet without much commitment. Über trendy is what makes you look dated in a photo and provides you with many “what was I thinking” moments, let alone leaving financial bruise on your recessionista thinking.

But dressing classic or classical as ‘they’ say lasts more than a moment.

There is nothing tricky, nothing contrived and classic always looks so fresh.... so modern... so pulled together... so French Chic.

Although the result may appear effortless, there is a very smart amount of calculation behind the look to get it just so that it has become second nature to so many French women. Or to the ones who want to master the elegant ease of French Chic, even if you were born on this side of the Atlantic.
Timeless Style is not about looking like anyone other than who your really are
Dressed in classic styles, each of the women photographed during Paris Fashion Week at theChanel show looks spectacularly timeless and ageless in her own unique way in her clothing choices and her hair and makeup. Simple but striking natural makeup and unfussy hair is what keeps them looking sexy and approachable.

Anna Mouglalis in the perfect biker jacket

What she’s wearing: A soft and textured black leather biker jacket with clean, graphic hardware.

How she made it personal:The zippered motorcycle jackets unexpectedly tops a dressier double-breasted silk shirtdress.

Beauty: Bold red lips and fluffy, yet undone hair compliment the understated glam look.

Why it works: Wearing buttons and zippers can be a fashion causality but here the hardware is in the same steely tone and they are in similar crisp, graphic shapes.

The combination is unexpected yet pulled together-- neither formal nor rock star, just right.

Virginie Ledoyen in the right structured blazer

What she’s wearing: A structured blazer with peaked shoulders that one would expect to be worn with a pencil skirt.

How she made it personal: Jacket cuffs turned up to show the sleeve of a classic and on-trend stripe T-shirt.

Dark skinny jeans, open-toepumps, long chain necklace and chain strap bag all create a very dressed up and polished look so that you almost don’t realize the understated simplicity of jeans.

Beauty: Undone long hair, barely there makeup and soft dusty rose lips.

Why it works: Although there is pairing of more tailored elements there is an ease and unstuffiness when worn with a simple stripe T-shirt that keeps the look young regardless of your age.

Bambou wearing a classic trench

What she’s wearing: The most classic tan trench coat with a de rigueur scarf to compliment the plaid trenchlining.

A simple loose yet flattering gray sweater- is it hers or her boyfriend’s one wonders.

How she made it personal:Jeans in the weight and wash of classic Levi’s get a city boost when worn with a very refined purse, like this patent Chanel bag.

Beauty: Natural to almost no makeup with a swipe of youthful creamy raison lipstick and undone long brown hair.

Why it works: There’s a natural ease that shows how comfortable she is in her own skin.

It’s fashion that shows the wearer has arrived and is not influenced by the opinions of others, simply her self-confidence in looking gorgeous and in control. That is sexy.
