Nina Ricci, What a transformation...

Hi my lovely reader,

Have you noticed that most of the famous brands which in my taste were boring have now become very very very stylish and interesting?

There was a time that only certain brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Cavali, Gucci, Marc Jacobs and all the brands that everybody knows were interesting and people were more keen on shopping these brands that any others. The world is changing.

Young talents are appreciated more these days than ever have been. They transform brands completely to a fresh and stylish brand. People starts noticing these brands again. Celebrities starts wearing these brands again. Media start talking about these brands. then, here you go! You are big again!

Some of the famous brands are forgotten these days, not forgotten, hmmm, let me put it this way, not as popular as they used to be, so when they reach this point they have to change their strategy. Find the weaknesses and try to improve it(This is what I do for living by the way!).They have to look at the market and their competitors. They should know that their clothes have to make women feel good, beautiful, sexy, powerful and make them shine. Then advertise! What advert is better than a movie star or a fashion icon wear your pieces, don't you agree?

One of my favourite transformation of the brands is Nina Ricci. In my opinion, Nina Ricci stood out again when Olivier Theyskens designed the famous Heel-less shoes. When in 2009 Theyskens was replaced by Peter Copping who has 12 years of experience in Louis Vuitton and also working for Marc Jacobs, Christian Lacroix and Sonia Rykiel in his resume by the way (Phewwwww), Nina Ricci even got better.
